“ JJ is my go to spot, but the sandwiches here always taste so much fresher. Usually kids in the window and they're polite. They do get painfully busy on the drive through during lunch.. 15+ min wait, but the line goes around the building while others sneak inside so it's not like they aren't hustling. ”

“ In the interest of full disclosure: In 1983 I had an office directly across the street in Charleston, IL from where Jimmy John opened his first hole-in-the-wall sandwich shop, ate lunch there often, know Jimmy John personally since for a while he was the primary serving staff, and am inclined to view Jimmy John offerings favorably. With that said: The #6 vegetarian sandwich, ordered with sauce and onions (warning: this does make it greasy) is, in my opinion, food of the gods. I'm not going to rate the experience Excellent, but I do think it's a cut above Subway. I enjoyed this visit, and will likely return when next I'm driving by Livonia on the interstate. By the way: The Jimmy John claim that service is freaky fast is not an overstatement. If you need food in a hurry and there is not a line waiting to order, it is quite possible to be in and out in two minutes with a freshly prepared sub. ”
“ This is a great Jimmy John's location. I've been coming here to grab lunch with my husband and we're both impressed by how quick the service is. The employees are friendly and engaging; they're always sure to say hello or goodbye. The sandwich-makers are quick like they're supposed to be. They play music at a decent level, meaning you can hear it but you don't have to scream to have a conversation with your lunch mate. Seating is limited at this location. A lot of the seats are located near windows or their two doors, so it can be breezy when it's cold outside. One thing to note: Parking can be really jammed during lunch hours. Keep that in mind if you go with a group; carpool if possible. Overall, I really enjoy this location. It's clean, quick and friendly. ”
